USA

Visitors come to the United States for a great number of reasons, and each individual has particular interests in mind when considering travel to America. The United States is a massive country, with a wide variety of climates, ranging from deserts to tundras to beaches to forested mountains. There are incredibly large cities with facets of every imaginable culture blended in, and there are even more small, rural, unheard-of locales which are charming and pleasant in their own ways.

Of course, when considering visiting large cities in the United States, there are a few obvious ideas. Many people visit America just to see New York City or Washington, D.C. New York City is the center of many of the world's industries, and is home to communities from all over the world. During vacations in New York, many people have certain goals, such as seeing a show on Broadway, visiting the Statue of Liberty or Rockefeller Center, or seeing the view from the top of the Empire State building. If you'd like to visit a big city in the United States, however, there are other great options aside from the Big Apple. San Francisco is an eclectic mixture of cultures and a city which has embraced it's diversity. It also benefits from a mild Northern California climate and being situated near both the coast and the rolling hills of California's wine-producing region.

For travelers in search of more adventure than the city has to offer, there are thrills to be found in countless other areas of the United States. If you are in search of great destinations for rock-climbing or hiking, the national parks in Western North Carolina and Red River Gorge in Eastern Kentucky are ideal locations near the East Coast. In the West, there are gorgeous forests stretching from Northern California up through Washington, or, for the more daring travelers, trekking in the wilderness of Alaska.
