Beaches
Las Cucharas is one of the nicest areas of Teguise and offers sheltered beaches that feature powdery, white sand and cascading waves. This 650m of beautiful beach is surrounded by large, attractive resorts and apartments whose architecture blends harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. The beach is perfect for activities like windsurfing, and provides a vast array of services such as sports equipment rentals, free parking, hammocks, telephones, restaurants and bars, and adequate wheelchair access.
Another Teguise favourite is Los Charcos beach. This beach is 26m long and 25m wide and boasts pure, white sand, moderate winds, and crystal clear water. This beach is situated close to the Puerto del Carmen coastline and is sheltered from powerful currents and waves. A docking site and boardwalk area are provided, as well as free parking, and bus service.
Bastián Beach is another favorite area of both tourists and locals. It is over 360m long and 15m wide, and features silky-textured white sand combined with fine gravel and the clearest of water. This beach is located in a partially developed area of Costa Teguise, and provides a wide range of amenities including parasols, hammocks, parking, and telephones.
Attractions
With water slides and swimming pools to please young and old alike, the Teguise Aquapark offers a day of fun for everyone in the family. Additional services within the park include beverages, food, 2 restaurants and a unique gift shop.
Guests can bring their own food and beverages into the park, however, glass bottles are not allowed, and the only alcohol permitted is beer.
The golf enthusiast will enjoy the lush, tropical landscape of the Costa Teguise 18 hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros. It is known as the best designed golf course of the Canary Islands, and few can defeat it!
A trip to the historic town of Teguise makes a fun and educational outing for the entire family. A large number of its buildings have preservation orders because of their historical and architectural value. An excursion into the town offers a unique cultural experience for people of all ages.
