Rhoda holidays on the north coast of Corfu are an ideal destination for families and couples seeking a perfect place for a quiet holiday. This beach resort situated in the western end of a huge bay is encircled by mountains. The beautiful beach is only 27 miles away from the town of Corfu. Access to this region is via the airport, located 2 miles to the west.
The resort has experienced rapid growth and the fishing village has changed considerably. Today only a few narrow lanes and old buildings remind visitors of the former village. The area has numerous lively bars spread along the beach.
Roda beach is a mile long and fringed by calm waters. These waters are shallow and safe enough for elderly people and children. The resort lies between the main road and the beach. Easy access to the beach makes it a popular place, and the sand and pebble beach extends to Acharavi, a neighboring resort and town. Roda has the best of the sand while Acharavi has more pebbles. At the end of Roda beach is a jetty, where vacationers can take boat trips to Othoni, Mathraki, and Erickoussa. Although Roda is mainly a resort today, fishing boats still dock in the jetty.
